Accommodation
We have received a number of emails regarding the hotel reservations since yesterday. Some of you could not make the reservations at the $139 rate we negotiated. We blocked about 90 rooms from December 2nd to December 6th. We also blocked 15 rooms on December 1st for those of you who will attend the tutorials. All 15 rooms for December 1st are filled up. But we have plenty of rooms from December 2nd to December 6th. So if you are booking the rooms outside December 2nd and December 6th you should do the following:
1) In order to make a room reservation within the block at the discounted rate of $139.00 per night, you should go to the link on the www.slt2012.org website, make your reservation starting on 12/2/12, and the reservation should go through.
2) Then you need to call the 800 number, which is 866-681-1791, tell them that you are with the IEEE-SLT 2012 conference, and you have a reservation starting on 12/2/12, but you want to add a room night before December 2nd and/or after December 6th. You will have to pay the non-discounted rate for the nights outside December 2nd and December 6th.
